PRIVACY & TRANSPARENCY
Your work. Your data. Your control.

Privacy at a glance
This notice describes what the BusyDayKit website and its tools actually do today, based on a review of the site's code. It covers busydaykit.com and the tools hosted on it. It does not cover separate websites we link to.
- Tools work in your browser.PrintMe, HomeSketch 3D, Product Finder, the demos and the six BDK productivity tools (Excel Rescue, Label Studio, MatchFlow, Sheet2App, QuickDocs and ScanCount) process what you give them on your device. We found no code in them that uploads your files, photos, plans or product lists to a BusyDayKit server.
- Some data stays on your device.Saved photos, plans, product lists and the inventory demo are kept in your browser's storage. The six productivity tools keep nothing unless you choose to save (a draft, a saved label, “Save on this device”), and each has a button to clear what it saved. That is local, not encrypted, and not backed up.
- The contact form does send your enquiry. When you press Send Enquiry, your name, email address, topic, message and optional contact number are sent through BusyDayKit’s server to an email delivery service and arrive in the BusyDayKit inbox. BusyDayKit does not keep a separate customer database in this release.
- Hosting still sees technical data.Like any website, the host receives ordinary request data (such as IP address and browser details) to deliver and protect the site.
- No analytics in our code. The site's own code contains no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and sets no cookies. Hosting-level services are covered below.
- Other sites are separate.Drofree and Zayalle are independent products with their own practices.
Website, hosting and cookies
Browser storage and cookies
The site's own code does not set cookies. It does use your browser's localStorage to remember your light or dark theme choice (key bdk:theme), and tools use browser storage as described in their sections below. This is stored only in your browser and is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings. Because no tracking or advertising technologies are used by the site's code, we do not show a cookie-consent banner.
Third-party resources
Pages load their styles, scripts, fonts and images from busydaykit.com itself. We found no external fonts, CDN scripts, embedded videos or maps. The one external script is Cloudflare Turnstile, which is loaded only on the Contact page, to check that an enquiry comes from a person (see Contact). It is not loaded on the tool pages.
Hosting and security processing
The site is a static website prepared for hosting on Cloudflare Pages. Hosting providers normally process technical request data (for example IP address, requested page, browser type and time) to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not control or see all of this, and the details depend on the host's settings and policies. Hosting-level features such as web analytics or bot protection can be enabled in the host's dashboard without changing the site's code; if any are used, this notice will say so. Your browser also sends a referrer and may be subject to the security headers the site sets (for example restricting camera use to the site itself).
Contact and enquiries
The contact page has a form. When you press Send Enquiry, the information you typed is sent to BusyDayKit’s own server function, which passes it on by email.
What we collect through the form
- Your name and email address (both required), so we know who is writing and can reply.
- A contact number (optional), only if you choose to give one.
- The topic you chose and your message.
- Where you came from, such as the name of a tool, when you arrive from a “Need Something Different?” style link. This is only a label that comes with the form.
- Your connection’s IP address is read by our server function to apply the security check and basic abuse limits. It is not written into the emails.
Why we collect it and how it is used
We use these details to read your enquiry, reply to you and continue the conversation by email. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not add them to a mailing list.
Who processes it
- The transactional email provider (Resend) receives your details in order to send two emails: a notification to the BusyDayKit inbox and an automatic acknowledgement to the address you gave. The acknowledgement contains an enquiry reference, such as BDK-XXXXXXXX, so that you and we can refer to the same enquiry.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the form’s server function. Cloudflare Turnstile, loaded on the Contact page, checks that the form is being used by a person. It receives signals from your browser under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms.
- Email providers on both sides (the BusyDayKit mailbox provider and your own) store the emails according to their own terms.
Emails, and the delivery records kept by the email provider, may remain in mailboxes and provider systems after the enquiry is dealt with. BusyDayKit is not building a separate permanent customer or conversation database in this release. We do not state a fixed retention period; messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, and you can ask us to delete the emails we hold by writing to the address below. Deleting our copies cannot remove copies held by your own email provider or by the delivery provider’s records.
Replying
You can reply to the acknowledgement or to any later email from us to continue the conversation. No account, login or password is involved. If the form cannot send for any reason, the page says so and offers the BusyDayKit email address so you can write to us directly.
PrintMe
PrintMe is a browser-based photo editing, collage and printing tool.
Adding photos
You can choose images from your device, drag and drop them, paste them with Ctrl+V, or capture them with your camera. The camera starts only when you press the button and only after you grant permission in your browser; audio is not requested. You can revoke the permission at any time in your browser's site settings.
What is stored and where
Photos you add are saved automatically to your browser's IndexedDB on this device (a database named photo-print-library), together with the file name and timestamps, so they appear in your Photo Library next time. In our review, PrintMe's code contains no network request that sends photos to a server. Editing, effects and background removal run on your device.
Printing, PDFs and exports
Printing and saving to PDF use your browser's print dialog. Once you save or print a file, it is a separate file under your control and is no longer managed by PrintMe.
Limits you should know
- Browser storage is not encrypted by PrintMe and is not a secure vault. Anyone with access to your device and browser profile may be able to see saved photos.
- Do not add confidential or sensitive photographs on a shared or public device.
- Clearing site data, using private browsing, switching browser or device, or the browser's own storage cleanup can delete your library permanently. Keep the original photos elsewhere.
- You can delete saved photos from within the library, or remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Photos saved in an older PrintMe hosted elsewhere do not transfer automatically.
HomeSketch 3D
HomeSketch 3D is a 2D and 3D home-planning tool.
- Saved plans and autosave. Projects you save, and an autosaved draft of your current work, are stored in your browser's IndexedDB (a database named
homesketch3d) on this device. The tool's code contains no cloud sync, accounts or upload of plans. Floor plans, room dimensions and project names stay in your browser unless you export and share them yourself. - If browser storage is unavailable (for example in some private-browsing modes), HomeSketch falls back to memory and tells you; work is then lost when you close or reload the page.
- Export and import. You can download a project as a JSON file, and download the floor plan and 3D view as PNG images. You can import a previously exported JSON file. Downloaded files are saved wherever your browser puts downloads and are then yours to manage.
- Tutorial flag. A small
localStorageentry remembers that you completed the quick tutorial. - Deleting. Use the delete-project control to remove a saved project, or clear this site's data in your browser to remove everything.
Back up your work. Browser storage can be erased by you, your browser or your device, and HomeSketch offers no cloud backup, encryption or account recovery. Download JSON backups of plans you care about. Output is conceptual and is not a construction drawing.
Product Finder and demo tools
These tools do not all behave the same way, so here is each one.
| Tool | Where your data goes | How to remove or export |
|---|---|---|
| Product Finder | CSV or XLSX files you import are read and searched in your browser and the current product list is stored in IndexedDB on this device. No network request was found. | Use the clear control in the tool, or clear site data. Export the list as CSV. |
| Inventory demo | The sample stock table is kept in localStorage on this device (up to 500 rows). No network request was found. | Edit or reset in the demo, or clear site data. Export as CSV. |
| Report demo | Runs in the page with sample data; nothing is stored beyond the theme setting. | Export a sample CSV. |
These are public demonstrations. They are not connected to any company system, database or live inventory, and BusyDayKit does not receive what you import.
Do not import employer-owned, customer or other confidential records unless you are authorised to do so. Avoid using these tools with real business data on a shared computer: local browser storage is not encrypted.
Chrome extension (BDK Quick Tools)
The extension is a separate product from the website tools. It is currently a prototype and is not listed in the Chrome Web Store. The Extension page describes tools such as a to-do list, calculators and a notepad, shown through a floating launcher on supported pages.
The extension's source code and permission list were not part of the review that produced this notice, so we make no claims here about what it stores, which permissions it requests, whether it reads page or browsing information, or whether it makes network requests. An extension-specific privacy notice, and the data-practices disclosure the Chrome Web Store requires, will be provided before any public release. Until then, treat this website notice as not covering the extension.
Drofree and Zayalle
Drofree (drofree.com) and Zayalle (zayalle.com) are independently developed digital products with their own websites. Their data practices may differ from BusyDayKit's, and this notice does not govern information you provide to them. Please read any privacy notice they publish on their own sites.
Retention, your choices and rights
Data on your device
Data kept in your browser by our tools is under your control. It stays until you remove it, your browser removes it, or storage is cleared. You can:
- delete saved photos, projects or product lists inside the relevant tool;
- clear this site's data in your browser settings, which removes all local data from every BusyDayKit tool at once;
- change or revoke camera permission in your browser's site settings;
- download your work (JSON, PNG, CSV or PDF) before clearing anything.
Data handled by providers
Technical request data is processed by our hosting provider under that provider's own terms and retention practices, which we do not set out here and cannot guarantee. If you send an enquiry or email us, the email providers involved handle that message, as described under Contact and enquiries.
Your rights
The website tools keep your data in your own browser, so for them there is generally nothing held on our servers to access, correct or delete. For contact enquiries, the emails we hold can be looked up and deleted on request: email us at the public address on the contact page. Data-protection law in the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, may give individuals rights in some circumstances, such as access, correction and erasure. How the law applies depends on the circumstances, and we do not give guarantees about response times, legal compliance or where any provider processes data. Nothing in this notice is legal advice.
Contact information
For privacy questions or requests about information you have sent us, email [email protected] or use the contact page. BusyDayKit is an independent practice run by Samjad Salim in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. We have not published a separate privacy email address, company registration number or office address.
